Regular recovery drills and RTO/RPO measurements are conducted to ensure network configuration, load balancing, and security group rules are correctly applied during the switchover.
To enhance disaster resilience, the architecture should incorporate CDN caching static resources, use intelligent DNS for regional traffic scheduling, and deploy DDoS defense and traffic cleaning strategies. For cross-border links, selecting high-quality bandwidth providers to reduce packet loss and jitter is recommended as a reliable partner connecting Japanese nodes with domestic/international backbones. By combining multi-line BGP, monitoring alerts, and automated switching, observable and recoverable disaster recovery capabilities are achieved.
